Debra M. Thorsheim, DDS, knew as a dental hygienist,
after graduating from the University of South Dakota,
that she wanted to be a dentist and establish her own
practice. She attended the University of Iowa and graduated
in 1984 with the highest honor in her class…the
General Dentistry Student of the Year. Dr. Thorsheim has
practiced in West Des Moines, Iowa since 1984 and launched
her dental practice in 1988.
Gregory F. Ceraso, DMD, graduated from the University of
Pittsburgh in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Biology and graduated from Dental School from the
University of Pittsburgh in 1978. After graduation, he
maintained a general practice in Western Pennsylvania
where he provided cosmetic, reconstructive, and implant
therapy for seventeen years. Also during that time, he
treated accident and facial pain victims at the Central
Medical Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1995 he
joined with Dr. Thorsheim and continued to provide his
expertise in comprehensive care to the patients of the
Des Moines area.
Together, Doctors Thorsheim and Ceraso have built Thorsheim,
Ceraso P.C. into one of the most successful and respected
dental practices in the country providing general,
cosmetic and reconstructive dental care.
